The Florida Keys.......One of the most amazing fisheries in the world! The Florida Keys are a year-round fishery. February through July is peak season offering sight fishing opportunities for bonefish, tarpon, and permit. For anglers seeking the thrill of a bonefish tailing in 8 inches of water rooting around for crabs and shrimp, permit rushing up on to a flat looking for Mr. Crab, or a bunch of tarpon heading straight at the boat, the Florida Keys are the place to be!
Tailing Charters offers guided fly-fishing and light tackle spin on the flats of the Lower Florida Keys. Capt. Chris Wells specializes in sight fishing for bonefish, tarpon, permit, and redfish. The Florida Keys boasts one of the world's finest fisheries and holds many world records. Our bonefish average 6-8 lbs, the permit are "Keysters" (big fat fish, often exceeding 25lbs.), and the tarpon move through by the thousands! If you are up for an experience and opportunity of a lifetime, then fishing the Keys is a must!
Capt. Chris Wells provides a fun and educational environment while fishing the flats. He offers trips for first time anglers as well as seasoned veterans of the flats. His goal is not only to catch fish, but to have fun and learn at the same time. "If you are having fun and learning, the fish will come".

| Group Flats Charters
At Tailing Charters, we have the unique ability to accommodate up to 8 anglers on the flats. We work closely with several charter boat captains and can provide a group flats fishing experience. This works well for corporate trips as wells as giving anglers the ability to fish together in larger groups.
Flats charters are for 1 or 2 anglers
Flats Fishing Rates
Full Day: 8 Hrs. - $550.00
3/4 Day: 6 Hrs. - $500.00
1/2 Day: 4 Hrs. - $450.00
What's Included
All trips include tackle, iced down cooler and beverages. Anglers will be provided with rods and reels. All flies, leaders and bait are included in the cost of the trip. All you need to do is show up with your lunch and personal items.

Reservation Policy
50% deposit is required to hold date(s). Once the deposit is received, your spot is guaranteed. The balance is due at the end of the trip.
Cancellation Policy
Capt. Chris reserves the right to cancel a day(s) fishing if the weather is too severe. The safety of our customers is our top priority. Severe weather is considered unsafe boating conditions, it is too windy for the day, or it's lightening. If Capt. Chris decides to cancel, he will gladly forward the deposit to a future date or give a refund.
If a customer cancels, refunds will be given if there is a 1 month cancellation notice. If the customer cancels inside 1 month from fishing date and Capt. Chris can't fill the date with another angler, the entire balance is to be paid in full.
Gratuities
Tips are not included in the cost of the trip and average 20% of the total trip's cost.

Captain Chris Wells is a certified and licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain. Tailing Charters and Capt. Chris are fully insured and bonded.
