North Fork Ranch
North Fork Ranch is located in the town of Shawnee, CO. There is approximately three-quarters of a mile of some of the best trout fishing in the state. Only guided trips are allowed here unless anglers are staying at the dude ranch. The river is comprised of pocket water, riffles, runs and a gravel bars.
There are cabins available year 'round and during the summer months the ranch operates as a full working dude ranch. Anglers have the option of hot lunch if requested and it usually includes some of Karen's homemade soups and fresh baked cookies.
North Fork Ranch is a fly fishing only catch and release stretch of water. There are 7 species of fish including rainbows, cut-bows, cutthroats, Donaldson stealheads, palominos, browns, and brook trout. Anglers can expect to catch fish between 14-30 inches.
